Preparing for e-Government Campaign
I wanted to thank you for your recent work in preparing the mail shot and telesales follow-up calls for the campaign we ran in Local Government earlier in March this year.
Your input at the planning stage was very helpful and instrumental in making the campaign a success. We knew we were running the campaign with very tight timescales and to a tight budget and so our time contingency was very limited. Therefore, when the courier managed to mislay a vital box it was a potential disaster and certainly created a few grey hairs for both of us.
However, your persistence at this stage in dealing with the courier ensured that we were able to see the campaign through.
We calculated that your telesales follow-up of the IT Managers gave us a success rate of 10% as far as seminar attendees was concerned and 14% if we add in those who said they would not be attending but asked us to contact them separately. This compares with approximately 2.5% of those we mailed and did not follow up.
As I said, it was a successful campaign and it was also a pleasure dealing with you.
